Bartender/Waitress

The Ainsworth located at 64 Third Ave is one of East Village’s most popular bars and we are always looking for fun, reliable, outgoing individuals who are looking to join the team! We are looking for an enthusiastic team players to provide an excellent guest experience.
We are currently looking for experienced bartenders & servers!

Bartenders:

-Beer, wine, & cocktail knowledge
-Bartenders have to serve customers in front of them quickly and efficiently
-Be able handle service drinks from the wait staff
-If needed be able to serve tables at the same time
-Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
-Complete opening and closing checklists.
-Works on developing repeat customers
-Trustworthy and responsible
-At least 1+ years experience behind the bar

Compensation includes salary and tips.

Servers:

-Maintains a Guest focus while performing duties.
-Welcome and greet guests within minutes of being seated.
-Informs guests of specials and menu changes.
-Offers specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations either upon request or you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
-Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
-Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system before taking item to the table.
-Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.(if busser unavailable)
-Clean and prepare the table for the arrival of menu items.
-Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
-Complete opening and closing checklists.
-Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
-Trustworthy and responsible
-Works on developing repeat customers
-At least 1+ years experience waitressing
