Coming soon, Coppa Club Brighton aim to bring year-round al fresco dining to Brighton Square. The Brighton venue will breathe new life into Brighton Square.

About the role:

As a Sous Chef you will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen management including motivating and leading the team, ensuring food standards are kept high, ordering and supplier liaison, training and coaching more junior staff, assisting with the large functions that are held on site, as well as ensuring all HACCP and COSHH requirements.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a mixture of branded and independent experience, with a proven track record as Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen with weekly turnovers more than £50,000.

• You’re a hands-on, sleeves up Sous Chef with a passion for preparing and serving outstanding fresh food within a busy, high volume environment.
• Like Coppa Club, you love an early morning sunrise as much as a beautiful sunset.
• You’re a team player and strong leader to manage Restaurant, Bar and Events Orders from one area
• Knowledge of system Fourth Hospitality and Procure Wizard (desired)
• Experience in consistently achieving GP and report accurate food GP to the Head Chef & General Manager.
• Monitor, control, order of food stock appropriate to sales levels and keep within budgets set for ordering
