Ivanhoe Los Angeles is seeking an Experienced Chef / Kitchen Manager
Qualifications:
Kitchen Manager to manage and operate all aspects of daily operation and cost controls
This is a working position. The right candidate will handle day to day operations, ordering, scheduling, prep and working line stations.
Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
-At least two years kitchen management experience.
-At least five years experience in full service, service driven kitchens.
-High level of organization.
-High standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
-High level of integrity, sense of responsibility and sense of urgency
-Familiarity with Excel/Numbers spreadsheets and email.
-Excellent communication skills, Bi-Lingual a plus.
-Ability to manage a kitchen effectively and economically, while maintaining and retaining employee morale.
-Manage ordering, Inventory, Prep, Execution, Scheduling, Training, Hiring, etc..
-Driven character, ability to work well without close supervision.
-Ability to follow recipes, and a palate to make adjustments as needed.
-Creative and food driven, able to come up with daily specials under the direction and guidance of owner / General Manager & Head Chef.
