In the South, we take our food seriously. Cooking food isn’t just a means to fuel ourselves - it’s a matter of pride. At Spring Chicken we take this to heart. That’s why we start with better ingredients and fresh produce to bring out the quality of our recipes. Recipes that have been handed down for generations.

And that is where the heart of our story lies: fresh, honest flavors made with premium ingredients. Anyone can get locally sourced produce, but not everyone can take that produce and create a meal so gosh darn delicious you feel jealous of yourself for getting the privilege of consuming it. We proudly make everything from scratch in–house everyday, from our secret recipe sauces to our fine fried chicken. Sure, it’s the hard way. We could cut corners and save a nickle. But the food won’t taste as good. And when it comes to honoring the flavors of our Southern roots, we refuse to compromise

Spring Chicken “Fronter/Greeter” is one of a chosen few who are on the front lines of our Service Team. The “Fronter” works one-on-one serving our guests with a smile, can-do attitude, high energy and level of determination like no other to make sure our guests have an exceptional experience every time they visit Spring Chicken. This self-motivated person thrives on the fact that they represent Spring Chicken and our commitment that no guest leaves without a smile of true satisfaction! They develop “regulars guest” because of their attentiveness and the facts they always make our guests feel welcome. The “Fronter” can make even the toughest guest leave with a smile and a promise to return!

Duties and Responsibilities:
• SMILE-always! Make eye contact.
• Welcome/Greet every guest with a friendly comment.
• Determining whether the guest has visited Spring Chicken previously; tell them about the concept if this is their first visit.
• Answering questions about menu items and food preparation.
• Serve every guest to the best of your ability.
• Use 5 star-5 step service standards and ensure complete guest satisfaction.
• Treat every guest as if they're a guest in your home.
• Notify a manager of ALL guest concerns, and if the line is long.
• Team player with goal of keeping Spring Chicken running smoothly.
• Keep service/dining area clean, swept and stocked.
• Keeps menus clean and stocked and offers take out menus to guests.
• Keep restrooms clean and stocked.
• Comes to work in a clean uniform.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent desired but not essential.
• Must be able to read, speak, write and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Must work well with others – Team Player!
• Must be a smiling person with a gregarious personality.

Age requirements:
• You are required to be at least 18 to sell alcoholic beverages.
