The Role!
As the rapid expansion of our company continues, it is imperative that we continue to leverage information in decision making across all areas of the business. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving both operational efficiency and business effectiveness at Zoës Kitchen + Cava. In addition, this position will act as an essential collaborator as the company continues to expand and formalize its analytical and business intelligence capabilities.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all business reporting and analysis to finance leadership and field operations teams, centered around labor, turnover, and other operational KPIs.
• Partner with field operations teams in identifying performance outliers to drive better results and operational effectiveness.
• Maintain store-level sales, labor and operating expense models for budgeting, forecasting, and operations scorecard targets.
• Partner with IT to continue developing and enhancing standardized reporting to field leadership teams.
• Assist in annual budgeting, quarterly forecast process, and ongoing projection process.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as required to support business initiatives and special projects.


Requirements and Desired Traits
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience, MBA preferred but not required.
• Restaurant or retail industry experience is preferable, though not required.
• Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Hyperion/Essbase a plus.
• Familiarity with business intelligence suites such as Tableau or Power BI a plus.
• Able to analyze and extract insights from large amounts of data.
• Strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Possess high level of intellectual curiosity
• Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects from start to completion.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with a wide variety of people assertively and confidently
