Description
The Front of House Department currently seek a Night Porter to join the our team on nights!
The Montague on the Gardens Hotel, part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is a stunning four star deluxe property located in the heart of London’s elegant Bloomsbury. This wonderfully refurbished Georgian townhouse features 100 individually designed bedrooms and suites, Leopard Bar, Blue Door Bistro, wood deck terrace and several function rooms. It is also famous for al-fresco dining, including an alpine themed Ski Lodge in the winter and a Hawaiian Beach Bar in the summer.
Key responsibilities of the Night Porter will include:
• Dealing with all late arrivals and early departures in a friendly and efficient manner
• Answering the switchboard and hotel telephone and direct the calls appropriately, dealing with any queries that may arise
• Running necessary night audits, Room Set Ups, etc
• Routine cleaning of public areas
• Being responsible for the Fire, Health and Safety and Security of the hotel guests and property
The ideal candidate for the Night Porter position should:
• Have a friendly and outgoing personality
• Work well under pressure
• Be legally eligible to work in the UK
• Be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
