Description
Spring Place is looking for a Housekeeper who will fill a key role in maintaining the appearance and presentation of Spring Place. In this role you will be required to wear many hats. You are responsible for running F&B orders, servicing meetings rooms and cleaning work spaces, all while serving high quality membership service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, maintenance, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas and restaurant space
• Preform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Check stocking levels of all cleaning supplies and replace when appropriate; inform supervisor/ manager when items need to be reordered
• Use correct cleaning chemicals for different surfaces in spaces.
• Clean conference rooms according to priority and brand standards.
• Clean restrooms according to brand standards and monitor during your shift
• Dust and polish furniture as well as lighting fixtures
• Notify management of any damage, defects and disturbances within the property
• Garbage removal
• Transport special requests dispatched by Member Services, such as packages and restaurant orders.
• Bus work spaces and clear area of glassware and dinnerware to the restaurant
• Anticipate Membership needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
• Maintain positive relations at all times
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding Health & Safety and be aware of company related practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
• Experience working in a fast-paced, efficiency demanding environment.
• Passion for/experience in hospitality industry a plus
• Calm demeanor under pressure
• Be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
