NEW RESTAURANT - OPEN CALL ANNOUNCEMENT!

(*Note: until we are officially ready to open our doors for Sfoglina Rosslyn, open call interviews for the opening will be taking place at our sister restaurant, Fiola Mare.*)

Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants, by James Beard Award-winning and Michelin-Starred Chef Fabio Trabocchi, are thrilled to announce that we will be expanding our celebrated and award-winning restaurant, Sfoglina Pasta House, into Rosslyn (Arlington), Virginia!

Sfoglina (pronounced: “sfoal-YEE-na”) is named for the female artisans and Italian cultural icons that carry on the tradition of rolling sheets of pasta by hand with a rolling pin, a technique passed through the generations.

Sfoglina Rosslyn will be our largest Sfoglina restaurant to date with both indoor and outdoor seating. We will be featuring the same upscale casual Italian dining (full homemade pasta menu) and full wine and cocktail list, as our current acclaimed Sfoglina Pasta House restaurants located in Washington, D.C.

To prepare for our forthcoming opening, we are now accepting applications and conducting interviews for all front and back of the house positions, which include:

Dining

Servers
Bartenders
Barbacks
Host/Hostesses
Food Runners
Bussers

Culinary

Line Cooks
Pastry Cooks
Prep Cooks
Stewards (Dishwashers)

Qualifications

-For all FOH openings, a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant hospitality experience in an upscale restaurant required (strong guest service skills may be considered for select positions)
-For all BOH (Line, Pastry, and Prep Cook openings), a minimum of 1-2 years of culinary experience in an upscale restaurant required

Additional:

-Excellent emotional self-awareness under pressure
-Must demonstrate leadership skills, be a team-player and work well with others
-Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
-Previous experience with Italian restaurants a plus
-Professional appearance and grooming standards appropriate for a premier fine dining restaurantFabio and Maria Trabocchi are a dynamic duo in Washington DC's restaurant scene, driven by hospitality, quality and authenticity.
