Proper Hospitality is an international hospitality company that designs, brands and operates bespoke properties and experiences. Job Profile
Must love hospitality! This position requires exceptional leadership and vision. The Villon General Manager is responsible for fostering and developing an exciting, positive, results based environment for the food & beverage team. Must possess strong personal organization, genuine hospitality, and care for staff. Understands and implements contemporary luxury/lifestyle standards.

Responsibilities
• Serves as a spokesperson for the Proper Hospitality brand, upholding its reputation and leading by example
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive working culture for all team members
• Direct oversight of the hiring, training, coaching, development, and discipline for Villon FOH/BOH staff
• Liaising with and support the goals of the culinary management team.
• Maintain the quality and consistency of the guest experience
• Responsible for Food and Beverage financial performance including but not limited to:
o Annual budgeting and operating plans
o Covers / Revenue Goals
o Achieving budgeted expense targets
o Implementing loss prevention controls
• Liaise with all hotel departments to represent F&B operations
• Seeks new opportunities and devises strategies for the improvement of the F&B operations
• Creates and maintains procedural protocol for F&B Operations
• Maintains compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards
• Oversees operations in compliance with legal and regulatory agency requirements
• Actively manage the food & beverage operations
• Actively interact with guests and staff during operations
• Completing daily, weekly, and monthly management administrative duties including operations reports, financial documentation, guest correspondence, human resources / staff management paperwork, operations evaluations, standard operating procedures, safety and sanitations checklists, ordering and inventory documentation, and PR/marketing tasks.

Skills/Knowledge Required:
•Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
•Proactive attitude with strong organizational and time management skills
•The ability to motivate and inspire others to work cooperatively to achieve a designated goal.
•The ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent data.
•Flexible schedule - Willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
•Ability to exert physical effort in transporting equipment and wares.
•Strong problem solving skills
•Ability to withstand high temperatures, moisture and noise levels in work areas.
•Ability to endure abundant physical movements in various work areas.


Qualification Standards:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent education preferred
Experience: Over 8 years of hospitality experience, and 2 years of previous experience in a similar position preferred

Licenses or Certificates: Serv Safe Preferred
